Asterina starfish.
Asterina starfish are incredible little creatures. They can mutate and split to become two starfish. They are known to eat some soft corals like Zoanthids and should be watched if placed in a tank housing any type of coral. Some will do their damage to the corals and some won't. It is very hard to tell which will, as there are so many different types in the Asterina family. There is no web site that list all of the different Asterina's that I have been able to find on the internet, but if I do I will certainly add a link to it here. If you know of one, let me know! |
